P1 SuperStock and AquaX are back in Gosport for the 2016 P1 English Grand Prix of the Sea, on 9-10 July.
With over 24 miles of waterfront, the Gosport peninsula represents one of the UK’s most outstanding maritime playgrounds and provides the perfect location for our drivers and riders to battle it out on the waves in pursuit of Championship glory!
Away from the racing, those interested in the town’s strong military history, most notably with the Royal Navy, can take advantage of a short boat trip to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with its numerous museums and historic ships to explore. For a more tranquil trip out, there are numerous scenic walks and some fantastic viewing points across Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. And for those who just want to kick back, relax and enjoy the racing and entertainment we have on offer, then Gosport has some great waterfront restaurants, bistros and pubs.
Boasting three marinas and home to round-the-world-sailing legends Alex Thomson and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s Clipper Ventures, Gosport really is the perfect location for our final race and we look forward to seeing you there!
