The Neolith brand is the leading sintered stone surface in its sector with architects, interior experts and designers using the material for their projects all over the world in over 70 countries.
The official Pace Boat, sometimes referred to as the Start Boat, is hugely instrumental in the coordination and delivery of each individual P1 SuperStock race. It is responsible for ensuring that all nine P1 Panther race boats in the series muster in the correct location, undertake the start line formation correctly, get up to speed in a uniform fashion before going full throttle upon the drop of the green flag - the officially recognised signal that the race has started.
The pace boat normally carries 4 trained P1 officials during a race - a driver, a flag bearer, an official photographer and a member of the P1 Safety team. The pace boat is a P1 SuperStock Panther just like the other 9 race boats on the course but it's distinct black and yellow design sets it apart from the other in the fleet.
This year the pace boat is kitted out with the latest in engine technology, the Mercury 300XS, one of the world's most robust engines.
Neolith Executive Director, Jesus Esteve said "We are delighted to partner with Powerboat P1 in 2018. We have followed the P1 SuperStock series over the years and felt it was the perfect globally recognised platform in which to showcase our services".
Azam Rangoonwala, P1 CEO said: "The pace boat is a valuable asset in the world of racing, the new Neolith colours of black and yellow mean this is one of the most vibrant boats out on the water" You can't miss it.
The boat will be used as a promotional tool this summer and will be seen by more than 100,000 spectators at race events across Florida. In addition, TV viewers around the world will enjoy coverage of the P1 races with the high-speed action broadcast in over 150 countries including Fox Sports, ESPN and CBS Sports.
