APBA SIX RACE SERIES ANNOUNCES UPDATES AND NEXT YEAR’S SCHEDULE
Promoters for the six race series held a conference call today to discuss the challenges some
race sites are facing and future plans to move forward. The Lake Race, originally scheduled
for May 28-30 announced it is going to be postponed until later in the season. Michigan City
announced plans to postpone their race until next year. Both Sarasota, FL and St. Clair, MI
plan to have a final decision surrounding their race sites announced soon. Thunder on
Cocoa Beach remains on schedule for August 27-30 as well as Fort Myers Beach for October
All promoters agreed to protect the integrity of their race sites and sponsors, sand with the
continued concerns for safety, race fans, and teams some very difficult decisions are having
to be made for this year but all agreed on announcing next year’s series schedule outlined
