Jacksonville Incident Update

Tributes have been received throughout yesterday and today to P1 Powerboat racer Mike Salber, who sadly lost his life while racing in Jacksonville on Saturday.

The condition of the three other racers involved in the incident on the St. Johns River is as follows:
Mike’s son Zane, who was with him in the race boat, received minor injuries and was discharged that same evening.

Frank Silva, driver of the other boat involved, was also discharged on Saturday but his teammate Chris Mejias is still receiving medical care and in a stable condition.

We will provide updates on their progress and wish all three a speedy recovery.
