George Ivey grew up on the Florida waterways from a very young age.
Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, his family moved to Forida shortly after. At age 8, his father gave him his first boat, a 10' skiff with a 10 horsepower outboard motor, and George learned very quickly that boating and the water would be a significant part of his life.
Over the years, George has been involved in many aspects of boating from working at a boat manufacturer, to family cruising, sport fishing, yacht restoration, and power boat racing.
After a successful 15 year career in sales management positions with S.C. Johnson Co. he decided to turn his years of passion and experience for boating into a career. George has spent the past 12 years in the marine Yacht Sales industry with Dealer/Brokerage offices in Ft Lauderdale and Jacksonville.
He made his P1 Superstock debut in 2015, racing the Visit Jacksonville P1 Panther.
