Carl has followed powerboat racing and in particular P1 Superstock for a number of years and his company Architecture and More sponsored One Hull of a Boat in 2013, Hull Speed Ahead in 2014 and New Wave Racing in 2015.
Having travelled to each round in 2014 to support friends Gavin Feldt and Dave Taft in Hull Speed Ahead, discussions at Torquay with Arran Scott led Carl to carryout RYA approved training with Absolute Aqua. He went on to race in numerous offshore races with Scott.
Carl made his debut in P1 SuperStock as navigator in the Arthur J Gallagher boat in Round 3 in Hull in 2015, his home city. Now he's caught the bug and will looking to create that OO moment with Team Typhoo for a second year running.
