A former British parakarting champion, who has represented England in four European Championships and a single World Championship, Kevin Hunt is looking to capture another title but this time in powerboat racing, navigating for driving for his beloved team Typhoo in the 2017 P1 SuperStock Championship. Alongside him this year will be wily Carl Turner.

Hunt began his P1 SuperStock career as a navigator alongside John Donnelley. The pair had two solid season's together, capped off when they won the 2015 P1 Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea, in Cardiff.

In 2016, Carl Turner joined him in the cockpit and whilst the pair didn't set the world alight they put in a string of consistent efforts to finish mid-table. They'll be looking to build on that partnership in 2017.

A fun fact, Hunt is a former Motocross driver, has taken part in the 1989 London Marathon, recording an incredible time of under three and a half hours, and has surpassed 40 years in the fire brigade.

Kevin: "We're there to get podiums. We want to put Typhoo back on the podium and we're working hard to do that. At the end of the season, we want to be in the top three. It'll be really tight, close-racing throughout the whole season. Everybody has a chance to win it this year."
