James Norvill, the former Managing Director of a environmental services company in South Wales, made his debut in racing in 2012 in the P1 SuperStock UK championship racing with the Oval Insurance Team enjoying two podiums throughout the season.
In 2014, GD Environmental finished the season as reigning champions in both the UK and US P1 SuperStock Championships. Had it not been for mechanical difficulties in Scarborough, the experienced driver would surely have been up their battling out for top spot on the podium, alongside navigator and close-friend Charlie Parsons-Young. Despite the setback back home, the pair still emerged with the overall championship Stateside after a dominant season.
For 2016, James will jump into the driver's seat for Team Barbados.
Interesting fact about James he holds the land speed record for the worlds fastest skip - based on a Subaru Impreza Rally car!
