Kissimmee ~ St. Cloud

The second round of P1 SuperStock Championship and third round of the P1 AquaX Amateur Enduro Florida Championship comes from Kissimmee, at St. Cloud’s East Lake Tohopekaliga, May 21.

A fleet of eight P1 Panther race boats and more than 40 AquaX jet-ski competitors will serve up two days of fast, furious, and exhilarating action. “Anyone who believes in the saying that ‘It’s not the winning, it’s the taking part that counts’ would be well-advised to steer clear of St. Cloud,” explains Azam, Powerboat P1 USA Director.

“This is going to be a tense, exciting, and electrifying weekend, and it’s great to be returning to St. Cloud! Special thanks go to City of St. Cloud for hosting us and helping us make this happen and to John Poole at Experience Kissimmee’s Sports Office.”

Last year, circling storms meant back-to-back racing on Lake Tohopekaliga for the P1 Panthers in the third round of the P1 SuperStock USA championship. Team Alisyn Oil's Bill and Elijah Kingery led at the halfway stage with GD Environmental and Lycamobile just 2 points adrift.

In P1 AquaX, St. Cloud saw the comeback of the Ski and Sport classes. This was the first time that AquaX had hosted these classes on a lake so the course design needed to be challenging with a lot of turns and opportunities for passing. #182 Broc Harris battled his way through for an overall podium win, while the Sport win went to David Gorie, who also raced the 250 class.

“We are thrilled with P1 AquaX’s championship races are returning to the city of St. Cloud, Florida,” said St. Cloud Deputy Mayor Jeff Rinehart.

“The racers and legions of fans who follow this thrilling sport get to enjoy everything St. Cloud has to offer. We have the perfect waters for this competition and the perfect spectator areas for the fans. St. Cloud is emerging as a premier outdoor sports venue in Central Florida.

Don’t miss this exciting, unforgettable, action-packed competition, FREE at St. Cloud’s award winning lakefront!”

Put the date in your calendar! It's time for another weekend of top class racing! Be there!
